CUEVA
A world of psychology, perception and the things you didn't notice.
An iPhone app about how mind readers, memory performers and magicians really do what they do. It performs a trick on you, then teaches you how it was done.

- 82lessons
- 236questions, in nine kinds
- 83sounds, made in code
What it is
Learning that feels like being let in on a secret.
CUEVA teaches the psychology behind mentalism, memory and perception: how people are steered to a choice, how a stranger gives themselves away, how to remember anything. There are 82 lessons in ten topics, with games and real-world missions.
It is built around one idea. Free video already explains psychology; it cannot make you try it. So every lesson ends in something you can do to a real person that evening, and the app opens like a film.
The first minute
It opens like a film.
A building full of people, three clues most of them miss, and a guide who asks whether you want to be the one who notices. Then you choose your first skill.
A few frames from it.

01Every room is full of signals.
02Most people walk right past them.
03The name lands in gold.
04Then you choose your first skill.
Lessons
Lessons you can touch.
This one teaches finding a hidden object by holding somebody's wrist. So there is a wrist to hold. Drag it along the drawers and feel where it lets go.
Animated in-house
He stars in his own films, too.

What I did, and what was hard.
All of it
The idea, the product decisions, the look, the content rules, the character, the sound and the code. I build with AI coding tools and test on a real phone.
Making it feel lit, not just dark
Every surface sits one measured step above the last and gains a little violet, so the app reads as a lit room. Every text colour clears its contrast target.
Keeping lessons honest
Each claim in a lesson carries a grade, from well tested to myth, and automated checks hold the writing to the house rules before anything ships.
One character, everywhere
The mascot is drawn in code from a single file, so he is identical in the app, on the website and in the videos, and can act out a lesson.
